There's no climate justice without gender and racial justice.

We Recently changed our organisations name from "We Are The Resistance" to TIERRA ((T)ejiendo (I)maginarios (E)cofeministas y de (R)esistencia Mediante el (R)elato (A)udiovisual)

Who are we?

TIERRA is a woman led, ecofeminist, communications and community building organisation dedicated to amplifying the voices and leadership of women and gender-diverse environmental defenders on the front lines of the climate crisis and environmental injustice in Spain and beyond

We aim to enable women of the global majority, most impacted by environmental injustice to inform and influence public attitudes and climate justice policy. Through, campaigning, audiovisual storytelling, and both local and international community building, we strive to deepen awareness of the urgent need for climate justice efforts to centre the lived experiences of those on the frontlines.

Women and Green Colonialism Conference

Every two years, we bring together voices from across Spain and around the world, especially from places where renewable energy is being used as a tool of neocolonialism. Together, we imagine and demand a future where everyone benefits from the shift to sustainable energy.
